Competitive manufacturers have attempted to address the shortcomings of current body armour carrier systems, with limited success.
Some have made headway in increasing cooling; others have reduced weight. But until now, none has been able to “crack the code” to produce a system that delivers the total package of improved comfort, reduced fatigue, efficient load distribution, enhanced cooling, and increased performance.
Our breakthrough resulted from an innovative, never before accomplished collaboration that pulled together the best thinking from design, function, medical/ergonomics, and tactical operator input to create a ergonomic performance products.
It was never our intent to completely reinvent the armour carrier, just to improve it. A key benefit of our products is the fact they can be integrated into any armour carrier, where it immediately enhances and upgrades that system.

Our products were developed with input and data from sports biomechanics specialists, military doctors, chiropractors, special operators, and law enforcement officers.
Of course, the ultimate test of their design is how they perform in tactical situations. And there, with the toughest critics imaginable, the reviews were outstanding.
We tested our products operationally with Tier one special operation units and elite law enforcement teams. Through advanced medical and performance testing, we collected hard data we used to verify performance and inform our development process.
After three years in development, including use by two Tier one units deployed in the war in Iraq, the results were undeniable.
Dr. Jim Mylonas
Dr. Jim Mylonas is the Founder of Ergo-Armour Corp and Ergo Operations Ltd. A critical thinker with a problem-solving mentality, Jim’s 14 years of experience as a highly successful human performance/ bio-mechanics specialist and sports chiropractor has been the driving force in the launch of both companies.
Coupling this background with training as a tactical medic and interests in engineering led him to invent an industry disruptive product (a body armour suspension system).
After taking his first product from need to concept to prototype and to market successfully, he has expanded the Ergo product line with a number of exciting innovations.
Taking the approach that designers use with pro sports equipment, Jim focuses on improving the modern warfighter’s/LE officer’s equipment to decreasing performance barriers, reduce injury, minimizing physical and physiological burden and enhancing human performance on target.

Mike has 18 years of experience managing and running day to day business operations, including managing multiple concurrent processes, and where necessary, strategically prioritizing deliverables to ensure all deadlines are met while staying within budget.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Seneca College and is highly skilled in all aspects of operational infrastructure.

This program is organized to teach health care providers to biomechanically evaluate anyone wearing body armour (Military, law enforcement, security, border protective services, etc.).
